Diaper Connection is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization that provides cloth diapers and instruction to families in Central Ohio that qualify for WIC.
Cloth diapers are both ecological and economical, and so are we! Volunteers assist families with applying, store and deliver diapers, and mentor families as they learn to use and care for their new diapers. Volunteers also wash and repair used diapers, replacing elastic and velcro, before they are loaned to other families. That way a set of diapers can be used by more than one child, and our donors know that all of their money goes to purchase cloth diapers for families in need. We have no overhead!
Some families believe cloth diapers may be healthier than disposables that contain chemical gels. Some families like that each child wearing cloth diapers keeps about a ton of waste per year out of our landfills. We’re pretty sure all of them love that cloth diapers save them an estimated $2,000 per child. Whatever the reasons, we receive many applications for cloth diaper loans and we need your help to fill them all. Please donate today!
